ASSOCIATION RECOGNIZED FOR ITS HELP TO BETHLEHEM STUDENTS
In mid November the Bethlehem Association Scholarship Fund was awarded the Pio Laghi award by the Bethlehem University Foundation. The Honorable Pio Laghi was the Founder and first Chancellor of Bethlehem University. The award was presented to Dr. Edward Hazbun, Founder and Director of the Fund, in a ceremony at the Vatican Embassy in Washington, D.C. in recognition of the generosity of its members to Bethlehem families. The Scholarship Fund has helped 250 students attend Bethlehem University, 20 music students attend Bethlehem Academy of Music and around 10 Arts students attend BirZeit University.
